Terms of Service

By creating an account on Human Spaceflight Analog Connect or by using any part of our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Interstellar Performance Labs / Fort Hill Group("we", "us", "our").

• You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their express consent.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

Human Spaceflight Analog Connect offers several account tiers, each with different access levels and one-time registration fees:

• Enthusiast — Free. Browse public directories, create an unlisted profile.
• Candidate ($79 one-time) — Public candidate profile visible to recruiters.
• Recruiter ($299 one-time) — Access to candidate directory and profiles.
• Habitat Owner ($499 one-time) — Manage habitat listings and full recruiter access.

All fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, unless required by applicable law. Annual renewal fees may apply; we will notify you in advance of any recurring charges. Accounts require administrator approval before full access is granted.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or any listing
• Impersonate any person, organisation, or entity
• Harvest or scrape user data from the platform
• Use the platform to spam, harass, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software designed to damage or interfere with the platform
• Use AI-generated or otherwise fabricated credentials as real qualifications

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Human Spaceflight Analog Connect, including profile information, uploaded documents, and photos ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

Our administrators may mark certain profile items (experience, certifications, past missions) as "Verified" after reviewing supporting documentation provided by you. Verification is a manual process and does not constitute a guarantee of accuracy. We are not liable for decisions made by third parties based on verified or unverified profile information.

Human Spaceflight Analog Connect uses Google's Gemini AI to generate candidate summaries. This feature:

• Is optional and initiated by users with appropriate access
• Processes only the specific profile data submitted for that request
• May produce inaccurate or incomplete summaries — outputs should not be relied upon as factual assessments

You are responsible for reviewing and not misrepresenting any AI-generated content.

All platform design, software, trademarks, logos, and non-user content are owned by or licensed toInterstellar Performance Labs / Fort Hill Group and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the platform.

We do not endorse any habitat, mission, recruiter, or candidate profile listed on the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Interstellar Performance Labs / Fort Hill Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Interstellar Performance Labs / Fort Hill Group and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at legal@astronautconnect.com. Upon closure, your profile will be removed from public directories within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Interstellar Performance Labs / Fort Hill Group is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under applicable rules, unless prohibited by local law.

Users in the EU/EEA retain the right to bring disputes before their local courts under applicable consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
